500kV oil-immersed transformers can be divided by structure into single-phase type and three-phase integrated type; in engineering practice, the "three-phase bank" composed of single-phase autotransformers is the most common. Typical parameter ranges are as follows: Rated capacity: single-phase two-winding type is 100–484 MVA; three-phase two-winding type is 120–1170 MVA; single-phase three-winding autotransformer is 120–400 MVA. Common single-phase capacities in engineering practice include 250 MVA, 334 MVA, etc. Voltage combination: the high-voltage side is usually 525/√3 kV or 550/√3 kV, the medium-voltage side is 230/√3 kV (with ±2×2.5% taps), and the low-voltage side is 36 kV. Taking the Bazhong 500kV capacity expansion project as an example, the main transformer's rated voltage is 525/√3 /(230/√3±2×2.5%)/36 kV. Vector group: single-phase autotransformers usually adopt the YNao,d11 connection method. Impedance voltage: high-to-medium voltage is approximately 12%–20%, high-to-low voltage is approximately 42%–62%, and medium-to-low voltage is approximately 28%–40%. Loss level: taking a 250 MVA/500kV single-phase autotransformer as an example, no-load loss is approximately 52–65 kW, and load loss is approximately 280–300 kW. Modern high-efficiency products have reduced no-load loss by more than 20% compared to the national standard. III. Main Structural Features The core uses high-quality cold-rolled silicon steel sheets, with a fully mitered, hole-free structure; the side limbs are bound with fiberglass tape, and the upper and lower yokes are tightened via clamping frames and fiberglass tape, forming an overall rigid frame structure to achieve lower no-load loss and lower noise levels. Depending on capacity and voltage class, the windings adopt cylindrical, helical, continuous, or interleaved/internally-shielded structures. For 500kV-class high-voltage windings, interleaved or internally-shielded structures are mostly used to improve impulse voltage distribu
