The terms for using escatechapp.com — how orders are requested, how prices and fees work, and what ESCA Tech Africa is and is not responsible for.

These terms cover the website escatechapp.com only. The ESCA Tech mobile app is a separate service with its own terms. By using this website you accept what is written here.
WHAT THIS WEBSITE IS
This website is a catalogue and an ordering front door. You can look at electrical materials from shops on the ESCA Tech marketplace, put them in a basket, and send that basket to ESCA Tech as an order request.
This website does not take payment and does not create an account for you.
SENDING AN ORDER IS A REQUEST, NOT A COMPLETED SALE
When you send your basket, you are asking us to supply those goods. There is no contract of sale yet.
A sale exists only once ESCA Tech has replied to you and confirmed:
- that the items are actually in stock
- the final price, including any fees and delivery
- when and how you will receive the goods
- how you will pay
Until that confirmation, nothing is owed by either side. We may decline or vary a request — for example where an item has sold out, where a listed price is plainly wrong, or where we cannot deliver to the address given.
PRICES, FEES AND DELIVERY
All prices on this website are in Ghana Cedis (GH¢).
Prices shown come from the shops listing the goods and can change. The price that binds is the one in our confirmation to you, not the one you saw on the page.
A platform fee and, where you choose delivery, a delivery charge are added. Both are shown to you in the basket before you send, and both are restated in our confirmation. Pickup carries no delivery charge. Fees and delivery charges may be revised over time; the current figures are the ones displayed in the basket at the moment you order.
PAYMENT
Payment is arranged directly with ESCA Tech after confirmation. No payment instrument is accepted through this website. We will never ask you for your Mobile Money PIN.
THE GOODS AND THE SHOPS
Many items on this website are sold by independent shops trading on the ESCA Tech marketplace. We list them, we handle the order, and we arrange delivery.
Product photographs, descriptions and specifications are supplied by those shops. We work to keep them accurate, but small differences between a photograph and the item supplied can occur — particularly in shade, packaging and manufacturer branding. If what arrives is not what was ordered, tell us and we will put it right.
Any manufacturer warranty on an item belongs to you and passes with the goods.
PRIVACY AND WEBSITE ANALYTICS
Use of escatechapp.com is also subject to the ESCA Tech Privacy Policy.
The website records a limited number of analytics events so ESCA Tech can understand how the marketplace is used and improve the service.
When you submit a search, the actual search words you typed are included in the website analytics record together with the number of matching products and matching shops.
When an order is sent through WhatsApp, the website analytics event records limited order information such as the item count, order total and whether delivery or pickup was selected. That analytics event does not include the customer's name, phone number or delivery address.
This analytics event is separate from the actual WhatsApp message. The WhatsApp message itself may contain information needed by ESCA Tech to confirm and fulfil the customer's order.

ELECTRICAL WORK
Electrician bookings are made in the ESCA Tech app, not on this website. Where this website describes electrical work, it is information only. Electrical installation in Ghana is regulated, and any actual work arranged through ESCA Tech is carried out by Energy Commission licensed electricians.
Nothing written in our guides or blog is a substitute for a licensed electrician inspecting the job. Do not rely on a web page to do live electrical work yourself.
USING THIS WEBSITE PROPERLY
You may browse, search and order for your own genuine purposes. You may not:
- copy our listings, photographs or written content to run a
competing catalogue
- scrape or harvest the site automatically
- attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the
site or the systems behind it
- send fake orders, or orders in someone else's name
We can refuse service to anyone doing any of the above.
OUR CONTENT
The ESCA Tech name, logo and the written content of this website belong to ESCA Tech Africa. Product photographs and shop names belong to the shops they came from.
WHAT WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR
We take responsibility for the goods we confirm and supply to you, and for arranging delivery as agreed.
We are not responsible for:
- prices or stock levels shown before confirmation
- loss caused by work you carry out yourself on the strength of
something you read here
- a service interruption on the website or on WhatsApp
- anything you agree directly with a third party outside ESCA Tech
Nothing in these terms removes a right you have under Ghanaian consumer law.
CHANGES
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. The terms that apply to your order are the ones published when you sent it.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction.
